Twin Cities Area

Lake Phalen – St. Paul, Minnesota

Max Depth: Approximately 90′
Viz: 8-20 feet
Special Notes: Free parking and water entry at the public boat landing.

Special Notes: Parking at Golden Acres Campground is $2.50 per car, $2.50 per occupant.  Look for 3 platforms, Cessna tail section, boat, canoe, each in about 20′.

Lake Superior – Duluth, Minnesota

Viz: 10-50+ feet
Special Notes:

Hesper – From Silver Bay: Drive out onto the break wall of the Silver Bay Marina.  Off load your gear, then park your vehicle in parking lot.

Madeira – From Beaver Bay: Take the North Shore Drive north to Split Rock Lighthouse.  Register with Park Services.  Parking lot is 1/2 mi past the entrance to the lighthouse.
