Bonaire’s pristine reefs and diverse marine life are unique to the Caribbean. The waters around Bonaire are designated as an official marine park, diving Bonaire is like diving the Caribbean the way it used to be – untouched and unspoiled. The island’s location in the south Caribbean gives it an arid climate with little rainfall; consequently, the waters are exceptionally clear of silt, calm, and divable year round. It is definitely an ideal destination for underwater photographers! Water temperatures average a warm 78-84°F, with visibility often averaging over 100 feet, and frequently, up to 150 feet.
We will be staying at Captain Don’s Habitat. This resort is an unhurried, unspoiled natural paradise offering spectacular sunsets, gentle breezes and crystal-clear, turquoise waters. Captain Don’s is a resort where you can DIVE, DIVE, DIVE, take part in a multitude of other activities or just sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Trip Includes: Roundtrip airfare from MSP to Bonaire, eight days, seven nights accommodations in a deluxe ocean view room, seven days rental vehicle (double cabin pick-up truck), six days of unlimited shore diving plus 10 boat dives with free nitrox on the boat dives and breakfast daily.
Trip Cost: For divers: $2,599* per person, plus tax. For non-divers: $2,599* per person, plus tax (includes 10 boat snorkeling and unlimited shore snorkeling). Prices based on double occupancy per room. Truck insurance, nitrox for shore diving, marine park fee of $25 pp and gratuities are not included.
